My baby turns 18 tomorrow!

Where have the years gone? How did my babbling, smiley little happy baby turn into this beautiful young woman?

It's hard to believe that we will only have one more year with her at home (thank goodness for a late 1st grade start, she's only a junior right now). We're blessed that she is happy, has wonderful friends & is doing well in school. She never ceases to amaze us with her sweetness and the joy she brings to our lives.

For all of you with little bitty ones - don't blink. The time passes much too quickly!

Happy Birthday to your daughter!

My daughter turned 18 in December. I don't know how in the HECK that she and I aged this quickly!! Mine does go off to college next year, and her closest option is 1 1/2 hours away. All of the other choices are across the country in California, D.C., and North Carolina.

Sometimes she can give us "the attitude" and I'm ready to pack her bags, but quite frankly, she has been wonderful most of the time. She sat on my lap yesterday and cried because she didn't know how she could go off to college and leave me, Dad, her little brother, and her doggie because she loved us all too much and would miss us terribly. Awwww . . . got tears in my eyes at that.
