I was looking at a funny older thread where everyone was talking at 4am (PST) 7am EST and on hold with CRO. They all seemed to know a code was coming that morning and within 10 mins someone had it and posted it on the boards. How did they all know that was 'the day' to get up at 4am and check? Thanks!

Disney discounts are poorly kept secrets. The big agencies usually know of a code a day or two beforehand, and someone will leak it.

Sometimes Disney is able to sneak in a code that surprises us, but usually not a major discount that is eagerly anticipated (like the free dining of the past couple of years).

"Rumors" of anticipated codes (based on past history) are posted on these boards, mousesavers, etc.
