How did that happen?! Single figures...

After a wonderfully busy start to the summer, we can now say that we are going back to the magic - NEXT WEEK!!!!!

Still got way too much to do. Bought a new camera yesterday specifically for DLP, I have a DSLR but it doesn't take good night shots and sometimes it is just a bit too bulky to carry around with a 3 year old in tow. So I bought a Samsung ST200F smart camera, seems like it'll be perfect! However, as we were buying the camera the rain and hail hit, and we nearly didn't get out of the city centre thanks to flash floods and roads closed! So we never managed to get the rest of our holiday clothes and bits that we needed. Had hoped to go to the metrocentre today to get the rest, but alas...more flash weather warnings! So instead we are having a Disney dressing up day - Rosebug is currently Belle, and is drawing some pictures for the princesses!
Might start packing later, and pop out to buy some blank tees to make some personalised gifts!

So very, very excited!

I can't believe how quickly it has come round for you Rosebug - seems 5 mins since your Feb trip!

PS - I too have missed out on the good Euro rate although it hasn't dropped too much to be fair (yet). As I need Euros for our summer holiday in a few weeks. I knew should have got them last week when I was in town!

It has flown. TBH I hope it slows down a bit otherwise it will be September before I know it!

I am sure we will have an amazing time, we are going with a total understanding that it is going to be hot and crowded, but hopefully the EAC will make a world of difference, and because Rosebug is so little it isn't like we have every ride in the park to cram in! We'll take it easy I think, and get done what we can!

The euro rate was fab last week, not too bad now at 1.23, so I ordered our currency and pre-paid cash passport through Travelex to pick up in the airport (after security) after the mistake we made last time of leaving it til we got to the airport and it taking forever, and getting a rubbish rate!

When are you going away? Hope you have a wonderful time! We've also just booked our October half term break - glamping in Loch Ness!

When are you going away? Hope you have a wonderful time! We've also just booked our October half term break - glamping in Loch Ness!

We go away in the UK in a cottage next week, then return for a few days, then off abroad . Great for keeping entertained/busy during the holidays but not good for me unpacking/washing/packing again .

We won't be away in October as saving our pennies for DLRP in November and Easter 2013 when we are off to Egypt! Can't wait.

Like I've said in previous posts, I doubt very much we'll get back to DLRP next year as DH and DD1 just don't seem that bothered and would rather try other new places . Hoping that we have lots of magical times in November and they may change their minds!

Anyway, have a great trip - can't wait to hear all about it on your return .

Have a great time, a little advice for good night shots you need a tripod or place the camera on a flat solid surface. That way you will get better shots
