I haven't seen this until today. Does anyone know how long it has been out?

Was that the promotion that expired in mid-December? It looks like it. It was available or booking in Nov and early December.

I clicked on one of the advertising banners up top on the disboards and that is where it took me. It doesn't give an expiration date when I click on the banner to book it.

Something's not right with this -- there's no US free dining offers right now and the dates you listed don't match the offer that expired on 12/20/11 -- the last date on that offer was 9/29/11.

Do you have a link to the offer page you're seeing?

I saw this and I don't think it is "free" QSD. I think it is just badly worded. If you try and book it from that link it adds on the price. :/

It looks to me like they have added another way to just book standard Disney Vacations from the page that used to be discounts/special savings.

It's frustrating because I can't cut and copy links from my computer. It is on one of the banners on the disboards though. Like the Swan and Dolphin banner - This one says something about special offers and discounts and free qsd at value resort stays.

The information the OP is asking about is on the WDW website. Its not free dining.

If you go to the WDW website and click on Tickets and Packages...you now have a new option besides BOOK YOUR VACATION and SPECIAL OFFERS (where the discounts are ususally listed). The new option is GETAWAYS AND MAGIC YOUR WAY VACATION PACKAGES.

I also saw the link...if you go to one of the forums that involves dining...you will see the linked...I clicked on it and thats where it brought me...to the Walt Disney Site...it has the same dates listed at OP.

It isn't a deal or a discount...its just a new way to present the information...I priced it out using 2A/1 13 year old/1 4 year old staying at Pop using QS for Sept. 11 -17, 2011 with 7 day non park hoppers...its cheaper to go with a room discount then to go throught that link.

I just talked to a specialist. It isn't a discount, just the regular price. I told her I thought it was very misleading as they even list certain dates to take advantage of these "offers". She really didn't have much to say about that. That is terrible advertising on Disney's part.

I guess the code means "stupid."
