How did Angel come about in Lilo And Stitch?

In Lilo And Stitch The Series I noticed that there is a character named Angel and I always liked her because she looked cute and her name really fitted her because she truly was an angel. From what I read about her Angel is the best friend/crush of Stitch and she is pink colored. I also heard that Angel is voiced by actress Tara Strong

Angel is Experiment 624 who was introduced in the series. Not sure which series featured her first, but she was in the anime one and animated series.

Angel isn't in any of the movies. Although I wish she was cause she's adorable !
