How crowded will May 31-June 2 be?

Hello all.. Thinking of going to US and IoA May 31-June 2.... This will be our first trip. (2 adults... 2 kids... 9 & 14)We are planning on staying at RPR on site. I know very little about these parks.... How crowded will they be? We plan on driving down the day before and staying off site near the parks the first night(12 hour drive). We then plan to arrive very early to check in to get our park tickets(I know the room will not be ready) then head to the parks. Will two nights - three full days be enough time to tour both parks since we will have the Express Pass? Any advice will be greatly appreciated!!!

That should be plenty of time to do everything you want especially since you guys are staying onsite. You wont be able to use EP at WWoHP but that part of the park opens an hour early for resort guests so I would take advantage of that. Have fun!

I'll be at RPR during your time there, and I know from experience that the park will not get too busy until around Mid-June, when peak holiday season begins. This will run until the kids go back to school after the summer break, so say late September. During July/August you aren't going to be able to move in IOA. Think Magic Kingdom crowds (on a pound for pound basis), but a huge pointless lagoon in the middle so the crowds all have to crowd dissipate around the edges 'islands'.

IOA must be something like 120 acres, but only 80 acres where people can actually walk. The rest is water.

But don't worry, end of May early June will be fine, in general. WWoHP is another beast altogether, but early hour admissions (8am-9am for hotel guests only - be at the gate by 7.45 at the latest) will mean you get an hour in WWoHP when it's quiet, as 4greatboys said.
