How crowded is Thanksgiving??

We are thinking about planning a week long trip for Thanksgiving 2007. We would arrive the Saturday before Thanksgiving and leave the Saturday afterwards. Are the crowds huge?

The crowds will be huge--on a scale of 1-10, figure an 8. Could be worse, but you will need to follow all the tricks--eg avoid the parks with EMH morning hours, go to other parks instead those days; show up at turnstiles at least 30 minutes early, make dining reservations so you don't have to wait in line forever, and try to see the fireworks at MK and Illuminations at Epcot on nights that they have night EMH so you aren't trapped in a massive crowd exiting.

If you are night owls, the later parts of the night EMH can be a fun adventure...

that is, on Sunday night, with EMH, MK will be open til 1a, and on thanksgiving, until 2a...I was on space mountain with younger son once at 2:45 am...it was a hoot...

We'll be there for our very first "busy" time this thanksgiving, hoping the weekend before wont be that bad but am really looking forward to this trip so if i have to share it with a few million people then so be it - i'm gonna have fun aways.

I'm trying to add a "7th" person to our 9:30 PS for Hoop-de-do and am told there are no seats available on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or even Friday of Thanksgiving week. So this looks like its gonna be crowded.
