How crowded is it usually around President's Day in Feb?

Wow, I'm so excited to be posting my first topic!
I am thinking about visiting Disney in Feb 08, around Valentine's or Presidents Day. I've heard it is kinda crowded around that time since some schools are out for a winter break. Is it? Is the week before President's Day better than the actual week of?

This past February was our first time going at that time of year (we have had 15 other trips)... it was no busier than spring break... my best suggestion is to join TourGuide Mike and use his best day park schedule and you won't have any problems... we love TGM... wouldn't go to Disney without him!!!

This is my first post also. I went a few years ago and it was not too bad. I would definitely go back during that time period and we are actually looking at going again in February 2008.

Goldielox, I'll have to respectfully disagree with you. the last few years have seen quite an increase in crowds over President's Day week. The early part of the week in particular, from the Saturday of the holiday weekend through about Thursday, is VERY crowded.

It's not "Christmas crowded" or "July 4th crowded," but I'd say President's Day week has crowd levels among the top 6 or 7 weeks of the year.
