How crowded is Disney Springs on a Thursday during the day?

thinking of spending time there on my last day after I check out and before I have to go to the airport

During the day there will be people there but it likely won’t be crazy busy during the day.

One thing I would recommend if you choose to do this is to allow a lot of time for Disney transportation if you choose to go. Our experience when we go early is that buses back to the resorts are less frequent due to less people at DS.
