How Crowded is Blizzard Beach?

I have heard talk of BB shutting down due to capacity in July. We are planning on going in about 2 weeks on a Thursday or Friday. Is it going to be insanely crowded? We do not want to bother if we will be stuck in long lines all the time. Oh, and I know you are going to tell me to get there early, but I just know that is not going to happen! Would Typhoon Lagoon be a better choice for less crowds?

OK - I will say it- you definitely have to get there early for EITHER of the water parks. We went to Blizzard beach on a Monday, JUne 28th. We got there at about 8:30 , it opened at 9:00 and we got to walk onto everything. It was great! We walked right onto all of the big slides. By about 10:30 there were 1 hour waits for Summit Plummit and other larger slides. We did everything in a few hours and then relaxed in the lazy river. We left by about 1:00 and had the rest of the day to rest and go to Downtown Disney that evening. As we were leaving it was sooo crowded!

Hope it works out for you. I did hear that the week we were there they did close the water parks because of large crowds. I suggest going on a weekday- not a Saturday or Sun.
