How crazy will 2021 be?

I'm not sure where the best place to post this, but what does everyone think the crowd levels will be in 2021? Do you think crazy busy all year long or busy once Oct 1st hits? My husband and I decided we may try driving our next trip (from PA) and then he asked when I was planning on this and I said well within the next few years before our son becomes a Disney adult. So I was pretty shocked when he told me last night that he actually prefers next year.

I would hold off until 2022 to try and ensure we wouldn't have to deal with the crazier level of crowds, but that's the year of our 10th anniversary and we were planning a trip out to CA that year. So I'm torn. Go in 2021 or wait until 2023?

I was thinking about this too. We're in the same boat, we do want to go for the 50th anniversary but not sure what those dates are yet. If we do in 2021, we plan on avoiding the end of September and October as the anniversary is the 1st and I think it'll be nuts during that time period.

Not sure... I've heard of a lot of people saying they're waiting until 2021 (skipping 2020) because of all the construction in 2020 and since most of it should be done in 2021. The DIS team talks about it often on YouTube/podcasts-- they have a lot of people wanting to wait until 2021.

However, it feels crowded all the time anymore. There's reports of unusually larger crowds right now and it's usually the slowest time of the year. If you're going to let crowds scare you away, I'm not sure you'll ever find a time to go. Go whenever is best for you and your family and maybe just avoid the usual very crowded times like major holidays and the week around October 1.

Very true. I guess I'm being a brat hoping some of the new stuff is open, but crowds aren't there yet depending on the time we go.

There is no slow time at disney anymore but you can be sure that on the anniversary itll be jammed. We cant wait to make our reservations. Even living close by we are going to stay on property for a few days
