We are heading to MK today but they're filming the Christmas parade. Other than Main Street, will the park be crazy?

Have a good time, Steve. When I've been there this time of year, and on parade taping days, I always avoided the MK just in case, but just wanted to tell you to have a good time! :)

Thanks, Heidi.

I also just read that all of the Republican candidates for President are having a dinner at Contemporary tonight. I'm sure that will help matters.

Joe Biden was here on Saturday but I didn't mind that because it was our group that he was speaking to :)

My inlaws and I were in the MK mid-morning of the taping day in 2008. Other than main street, we didn't find it too crowded. Of course, that was a while back.

Oh God - if the Gov. of our fair State is there, tell him to STAY there, please!!!! :rotfl:

The last time we were at MK for the Christmas parade they had CM routes open so we could avoid main street and go from the train station to either space mountain or to adventure land. Aside from not seeing main street it was a good day and most of the crowds were at the parade.

For those who are interested, the park was just fine today. The filming that was happening was at the castle only with performances on stage. The rest of the park was completely unaffected.

Great Steve, glad to hear it didn't interfere with your day!
