How could it be? I got CINDY'S for Nov. 2nd!

Oh my gosh!

I had ressies for Akershus storybook brkfst for my DD3 this Nov. I never thought Cindy's would be available. I read this morning, however, that Cinderella is never at Akershus. Of course, Tabby's favorite princess is, you guessed it, Cinderella. She would be crushed that Cindy wouldn't be there. Just for the heck of it, I called and Cindy's Royal Table had an opening at 12:00 for lunch.

My first thought was, I must have done something nice for someone and earned some mighty good karma.

My second thought was, HOW MUCH am I paying for lunch for four people?????? Holy mackarel, batman, that lunch is EXPENSIVE.

Oh well, the things we do for our little princesses. I'm sure this will earn me some more good karma.

But I think you answered your own question. The lunch and dinners at CRT just aren't worth it to some people.

I used to eat at the Castle once every trip. But it was always the old lunch and dinner meals. Under the new fixed price character meals I won't be going back.

Just for future reference....the dinner at 1900 Park Faire, at the GF, is also a Cinderella affair...and a much easier to get ADR than CRT (not to mention, much less $$$).

Good to know! We're probably going back in May, and knowing me, I'll probably do GF or Akershus.

After all, what do I work for, anyway, if I can't do nice things for my kids from time to time?

Congrats! We are hoping to do CRT for our first time in Feb. However, we ate @ Akershus in Sept. and Cinderella WAS there. When she came to the table I expressed my surprise to see her there and told her I heard she wasn't at that character meal and she said, "Who told you that?"

Congrats! I think it has to do with CRT going from a 1 to 2 TS credits for ppl on the DDP. I took my kids last yr for breakfast and my DD really wanted to go back, we got free dining again and this was a tottally unexpected trip so I cant really afford to spend 2 credits on one meal..I let her pick another restaurant and she said Ohanas which is also my fave so we will be going there.

My neice would totally have a fit if she saw Ariel with legs, we have taken her the the Character meals so she's seen all the other princesses but Ariel is her favorite (besides Aurora, but thats only b/c she wears pink)

I agree. We won't be going back either.

As far as Cindy goes we saw her at Akershus for dinner this past January. Supposedly Ariel is there only for lunch, but we saw her for breakfast in Dec (she said she was there because her friend Snow White was sick that day) and we also saw Ariel at Akershus for dinner in January. Neither time was Snow White there though. In Dec Belle was standing for pictures (not circulating) because she was in her gold dress, so Ariel was circulating. In January Belle was in her blue dress and Ariel was the one not circulating.

Wow! If I had known Cindy was at Akershus, I probably wouldn't have cancelled it. CRT lunch will cost us at least $50 more for lunch than the Akershus BF would have.

On the other hand, we get to eat in the castle, which is neat. And also, we were going to go to MK that day so breakfast @ WS was going to throw the day off.

This may be the only time we ever do this, so I'm keeping the ressies! Next trip will definitely be Akershus, though!

I really wanted to do the pirates and princesses party at MK, but they won't be offering it anytime during the two trips we are going to take (early Nov. and early May). Bummer. anyone know if it is going to be continued?
