How common are AP codes for Oct/Nov?

We are doing the MYW packages, but considering APs. With a family of 5 the dining package is quite a savings, but I have read that an AP rate on a room could be greater than the saving on the DP when you compare the room rate to rack rates which come with the packages. Also, we have booked concierge and they are booked up at both the Poly and GF for the week we are going.

Although discounts sometime happen for annual passholders, I wouldn't buy one strictly for that reason. Buy them for admission. If rates come out, that is (obviously) a bonus, but do not make the decision under the expectation that they will always be there.
