Perhaps because it's less expensive than the other deluxe resorts in the MK area, and it's already attractive to folks because they get the easy access to the MK without paying the monorail prices. They may not need to offer a steep discount to fill rooms there.

My guess is that with the recent renovation, it's not as hard to fill rooms there, so less of a discount is being offered.

If a resort is booking up without discounts, there's really no need to offer a big discount to fill rooms. I have seen this a lot lately with the Poly being just a 20% discount, while other deluxes were 30%.

WL is a very popular resort and has been for a while even before the refurb plus the fact it is lower priced to begin with no need for heafty discounts
