I'm going in Oct. (9th to 18th) and it seemed like before Sept. people were always posting about Sept. but I rarely see people posting about October. Perhaps it will be really slow. Hoping that some people changed their ressies to Sept. to get the free dining. How should the crowds be in Oct.? Linda

If you do a search there is a ton of info on October. Thats how I made my decision on when to book for next year :)

there are several posts about October, crowds aren't bad and the weather is usually nice. Check out the other posts.

You're sure to find several posts about Columbus Day. We'll be there at the same time. I'm pretty sure there were a couple "Who's going in October?" threads as well. We like October, but it's less crowded when we've gone in late Sept. The Food and Wine Festival at Epcot makes the WS quite crowded in the evenings, especially if a popular music group is scheduled.

I'll be there in October. We arrive late on September 29, leave October 10. I wanted to catch both the F&WF and free dining! :Pinkbounc

I'm not going in Oct, but friends are going and its a group of 14 in total, 7 adults, 7 children, they've been on the boards but only reading, Oct 6th - 15th. Its been Disney conversation each weekend when we are all together. Each of us bring our info to the table to discuss events and dining. They are excited about the FWF, and to ride Soaring.

Oh you lucky dogs -- you'll be there on my Birthday (Oct 18) this year! I didn't know others were going to celebrate my birthday this year!!! :lmao: Actually NEXT year I AM going on my BIRTHDAY (ok, it is one of those BIG ones!) ... but this birthday I will just be looking forward to 21st WEDDING ANNIVERSARY at WDW.

OK -- everything is about me. Just had to comment on the Oct 18 subject line and I will look for what others say about October since I will be "HOME" in Oct 2007!

HAVE FUN!!!

We're going in October. We've asked all of our questions, got the answers and now can just sit back, relax and wait for :hourglass to pass. We'll be there Oct 15 - 19th. Just a short trip but long enough to get our first experience with MNSSHP and F&W in! :cheer2:

See ya real soon!

Must be that those of us going in Oct are 'old hands' at this whole thing. Perhaps with the free dining, there are a lot of folks going in Sept who have more questions than those going in Oct? My big question? When the heck is Oct 21 going to get here????!!!!!! Man, time is just dragging. Then, once it gets here, time starts to fly..hate when that happens!!!

We're going Oct. 7-14! :cool1: Maybe there aren't many others going (yeah, right!) and we'll have no lines!

I have been reading for months. We leave October 14. Most of my questions have been answered already so I am in a :hourglass mode as well
