how come no disney visa codes lately?

I check their site almost daily for offers. Nothing! :sad2:

I also called today & was told their are no offers for January & they are posted monthly.

I wonder if its due to the Chase buyout? :scratchin

I used a Disney VISA code at WDW last year but nothing this year. Bummer. I'm really discouraged about the prospects of paying full rack rate in June.

I was all excited about my disney visa when i first got it about 12 months ago. I have been using it like crazy. I would have to charge 25,000 dollars to just gain 250 bucks. There are other cards which are much better. I am a little bummed because it was kind of cool to have it, but in the long run it doesnt make financial sense.

I agree w kirbsam, I've had my dis visa (it says since day 1), over a year. I have earned $71. My miles plus in the same time paid for one of our flights this coming april. Will not be using dis visa anymore. It is cool looking. :cool1:

I agree the Rewards aren't that great but something that was great was the zero interest for six months. And I hope they have another 5 plus 2 code. Was that not the bomb? Let's hope Chase Bank doesn't take the real "rewards" away.

I have had the disney visa since it came out, no great deals if you ask me. :guilty:

Ditto, that's why mine is gone, I did like the exclusive pins though.

I have the Visa, but lost my bookmark for the site. Can you link me to the area that shows offers.

I had the card since the beginning...earned some rewards dollars...but the rewards in general are really not all that rewarding. I stowed the card and don't use it because I do better elsewhere, but the design is really nice. Maybe Chase will make the rewards more enticing.

I've had it for about a year. Am not really pleased thus far with the rewards side of it. The rewards program with my US Airways Miles Visa is 100x better, which, unforutunatly might not be around for much longer; due to the state that the company is in right now. Maybe they'll rework the Disney program and things will get better?

We also have had the Disney Visa since it first came out, and are making our first trip to WDW since we've had it. We have almost $800 in rewards (2 daughters in college :cheer2: ) and I got a code during Value season, so it will be paying for our entire room charge. And that's a good thing because after this trip, I'm done charging to my Disney Visa, I'll either go back to my Discover, Am. Express, or get a CITI card like my daughter's that will give us 5% cash back on purchases made at supermarkets, drugstores and gas stations and 1% back on everything else! That cash back will be our new Disney fund! ~::yes::~

I've had Dsiney Visa since it came out. We charge alot and pay it off each month so we have accrued alot of points. Used $160 this trip 12/26-12/31/04 for souvenirs, sundries and snacks; have $580 currently accrued for next trip in July at Poly. We use the card for gas, groceries, weekly stuff , then pay it off each month. I really appreciate these rewards, similar to the AE rewards accrual, but AE stopped the disney benefits so I use Visa more.

Doesn't the USAir Visa have a hefty annual fee?

It depends on which level of membership you are. I have the 'Classic' Card, and it's $50.00/year. Gold, Platnum, and Signature are all higher levels of membership, and have higher annual fees. But to me, $50 is nothing to get too bent out of shape about.

I recently booked two round trip tickets using my miles for a trip to Atlanta. It was very last minute (less than a week before I flew).Yet my flights only required 20,000 miles each, when the average reward is 25,000 miles. If I had paid for those flights in cash, rather than miles, it would have been in excess of $2,000.00. That alone is worth the $50.00 annual fee.
