we have never even walked into this palce? is it CS or TS? Is it bad or just not worth comments - seems like we never hear of this place?

It is CS. The food is pretty average typical MK CS fare. If you can get a seat overlooking the IASW loading area it is cool but be warned, everyone with a toddler will be in there around lunch time it seems so it is crowded and deafening.

I found it to be very crowded when we went in Oct - after Columbus Day!

DD has blood sugar "issues" and we had a 12 noon appointment at BBB - we were told they were running at least 1 1/2 behind - dd needed some food - not just the snack I had packed - so we headed to PH -

it was a zoo!! If I remember correctly I had a salad, and dd had the chicken nuggets - but I think the location in Fantasyland with the parents and kids hanging in Fantasyland - its crowded

typical cs food (they are all alike now imho - the salads are made in a central location and distributed to the various restaurants - same with the fries and chicken nuggets, and desserts)

we walk over towards the Haunted mansion and eat at Columbia Harbor House - it seems quieter - esp if you go upstairs!! DD is NOT a fish eater at all - but this has no become the place to eat - again, its quieter upstairs compared to the other CS places in MK

Their food is not the greatest.

And yes, they're crowded. The thing my kiddos loved was looking out over IASW and waving to all the people on the boats. It's a neat experience for the kiddos. But, the food isn't the best.

when they had the figaro fries (THE ORIGINAL WITH LETTUCE, TOMATO AND RANCH), and always sat outside upstairs looking at the back of the castle. Now that they don't have the figaro fries, we usually goe somewhere quieter unless it's off-peak time. The food is just standard cs fare.

It's a really cute place. Food's just average CS, but it's worth poking your head in the door to see the theming.

It's a CS. Grew up eating burgers in here. It's nice looking down on It's a Small World.

:confused3 I dunno, it doesn't get much love on the boards! But personally, I like it just fine. Last time we were there, the salad was fresh, and the pizzas were really pretty good. We sat upstairs, outside on the little balcony and had a wonderful view overlooking the castle, Peter Pan, etc... I'd go back.

I'm in total agreement with this. We ate there and enjoyed the salads and pizza and wouldn't rule it out for a meal if we happened to be in that area.

I was there in November and had the Figaro fries! It was a fun snack :)

We used the packets of Ranch to put on top of them

When we went, it was very crowded, and our least favorite CS in MK. We strongly prefer both Pecos Bill's and Cosmic Ray's to Pinnocchio Villiage Haus. We are looking forward to trying Columbia Harbor House on our next trip, and will likely revisit PB or CR or both. But we have no desire to revisit PVH.

to each his own but we ate at PVH for the first time on our last trip and enjoyed the food.we got lucky at sat by the window overlooking it's a small world and waved at everyone and they waved back it was fun and i'd eat there again. we also enjoy columbia harbor house pecos bills and cosmic rays.

Avoid it if possible if for no other reason than the crowds. Lots of young children and not the most relaxing place to eat. (I can say this because I am one of them with the young children):) One night my son wanted fries late and we did get a seat by the window looking down on It's a Small World.

Love this place for the theming, not too picky about food, but remember the fries as being fab and the rest as pretty good, too. Wondering if evening would be less crowded for dinner CS, since Fantasyland attracts more little ones and maybe they wouldn't stay out as late? (probably wishful thinking)

No one in my family is really a fan of the food here, and it's usually very very crowded. I love the fact that a couple (not kidding, only a couple) of tables overlook IASW, and if it's not busy and one of those tables is open, we'll usually eat there once, but it's hard to find that slow time there.

Hi PLM,

We ate there in Dec, and had a very nice CS meal. Hubby & I each got a Veggie Pizza Combo (w/ side salad & drink), and we split one order of Figaro Fries. Sure, it's a basic little salad, and a standard WDW personal pizza, but we had no complaints. We did not pick an overly-crowded time to eat, so I'm sure that helped!

And I had read here on the DIS that they no longer put ranch/ lettuce/ tomato on the FF, but they were quite tasty, and along with a salad it seems like anyone could make them as they used to be if they were really missing that experience.

I had seen menus on allears.net that showed a variety of sandwiches that I was hoping to choose from, but some cutbacks had already hit, so all they had to choose from was the pizza or pizza combo, ckn nuggets, and a larger salad.

The different rooms are decorated with really cute storybook paintings of different parts of Pinocchio's tale. The window overlooking IASW was fun... there were a couple of CM's who were writing messages on one of the windows, and wiping it off quickly. Seemed like a new message was up for every other boat.

Maybe next time we'll try the upstairs balcony. Enjoy!! :goodvibes
