oh my god i was deffintly under estimating the weather i am going to freeze i think ill just stay on its a small world i always remeber that being warm

i cant believe that i am going to have to go back to the hotel to defrost when in WDW we were going back to cool down lol :rotfl:

It's not too bad when you're walking around, but absolutely flipping freezing when you're standing for 20+ minutes in a queue! I think layering (starting with thermals or tights under trousers) is definitely the way to go!

Get a good thick pair of gloves too - I remember we all had freezing fingers, despite wearing normal fleecy gloves!

When we went in Dec, it was literally freezing every day and I ended up with tights under jeans under waterproof trousers, thermal socks, vest top, long sleeved top with t-shirt over the top, jumper and fleece lined waterproof coat, hat, scarf and gloves and I was just about warm!

I dont seem to feel the cold to much, maybe due to my days of waiting outside hotels etc for my fave bands etc in all sorts of weather.

If i layer up to much i get too hot. I will be wearing a long sleeve top under a hoody and then my coat with hat, gloves and maybe a scarf with leggings under my trousers and some fleece boots or trainers.

We went mid Dec and the forst 2-3 days it was freezing!!! The girlshad their snow trousers on on top of their jeans, vests, tops and fleeces with jackets. They were warm!!!

I wore a top, a fleecy jumper and a jacket, hat and gloves and warm waterproof boots. My feet were really warm and I didn't feel the cold as much. The real pain was when I was in a queue for more than 15mins, my hands were freezing but I was generally warm.

Keep warm everyone!

I was looking at the weather reports for next week yesterday and I have to admit it doesn't look good - with temperatures going down to around -12 degrees :scared1: I was expecting cold, but not quite that cold. We have a ski suit for youngest DD (15 months) with ski jacket and salopettes. Older 2 have got 2 piece thermal base layers, jeans, t-shirts, jumpers and ski jackets. OH and I have packed thermal long johns (very sexy ;) :rotfl: ), jeans, t-shirts, jumpers and ski jackets. Along with the obvious hat, scarves, gloves I'm hoping this is going to be enough although I'm starting to think we may end up nipping back to the hotel midday aswell.

That's if we even manage to get on our flight

I think if you imagine it's going to be the coldest possible weather, you should be OK - at least that's what I'm hoping coz if it's colder than I'm imagining I'm not leaving the hotel :rotfl:

I am expecting it to be very cold. I have already got a one piece skisuit for DD2(2) & a ski jacket & salopettes for DD1(6) & am waiting for DH's to arrive. Also thinking of getting myself one - I have been busy on ebay, but i HATE the cold! I don't care what I look like, so long as I am warm. I can always sell them again when I get home.

Lol, I love this thread!

-12 next week?!? I definitely need some extra snow clothes!!!

How do you spot a dlrp dis-er? Just look for the people dressed like eskimos!

We are leaving in just a few days and looking at the forecasts it is going to be cold but fortunately should be dry. We have Ski Suit and warm boots for DS so he should be OK leayered up. We are ready with thermals and waterproof/windproof/warm coats.

Feb will be cold, it's supposed to be the coldest month in the year... Ash will be fine as long as she had a little skisuit or ski trousers and a thick coat. We bought Anya's ski trousers from John Lewis, they cost less than £20 and are sooooo warm!!! She was never cold and it was cold when we were there.

thats what i was planning on wearing lol i think i will be deffintly be packing some more for layers then

hopefully the few extra pounds over xmas will keep me a bit warmer lol

We went on 31st dec and 1st of jan, and we thought it was very cold. I wore leggings under jeans, long sleve tshirt, jumper, thick coat, gloves, hat and scarf, and i was still cold - especially in the 1.5 hr queue for crush's coaster. I also had a hand warmer in my bag, but forgot all about it, until I unpacked my bag back at the hotel!

We usually play a game in the parks that involves spotting people who are wearing ridiculously inapropriate clothing for the conditions (Alton towers is always a good bet for crop tops and mini skirts in freezing temperatures:rotfl: ), but this time in Paris we really struggled to find anyone stupid. The best we got was a lady in a pair of 6 inch pencil heals, which must have been quite a struggle, as I was wearing trainers with a good tread, and I slipped quite a few times.

definitely layer up

thermals and ski stuff for the kids especially

i just wore thick tights under my jeans, then thermal socks with caterpillar boots

on top i wore 2 thinner layers, then my Tog24 coat which is nice n thick and has a fur trimmed hood :rotfl:

and of course gloves and a scarf

only time we felt the cold was when waiting for the parade really

we even sat outside caseys for lunch one day ! lol
