How close to ADR time can you modify?

I have been trying to modify the time for our 330pm Oga's reservation for the last several months-we grabbed an available time and have needed to modify it. I try several times a day. Unfortunately it is for March 4, opening day of MMRR, and modifying anything for this day is proving to be very difficult. We hope our kids can hold out all day, but on the chance that they can't, can we modify it to a different day last minute, even if we then have to cancel it? We don't want to cancel unless absolutely necessary, because we really enjoyed this place during our September trip. Yes, I know this would be frowned upon, but we feel it will be survival of the fittest at HS on March 4, and not sure we can cope from sunup to sundown without a break during the day that this reservation would be preventing. Our last FP is at 120, and our dinner reservation is a 5.

The closest I've done it is 15 minutes out, with no issues.

Your issue with this one is finding another time to modify it to.
It's pretty heavily booked and it make take quite a few searches to find an open time to move it to
