How close is Disneyland hotel to the parks?

Hi there,

I may be attending a conference at the Disneyland hotel later this year. I may have some half days at the conference and was thinking of hitting the parks, for example, first thing in the morning, going back to the hotel for the conference for the afternoon, and then going back to the parks after the conference ends late afternoon. Would the Disneyland hotel be close enough to the parks that it would be worthwhile, or would the hassle of going back and forth not be worth it?

I would definitely go to the parks if I were you! They are very close, DL and CA are about an 8 minute walk to the front entrance, or you could take the monorail which is only abot a 4 minute walk. The monorail will take you right into tomorrowland. You can cut through the GC and use the private entrance to CA which would make the walk shorter.

You should do the half days for sure! You should see if there are convention tickets available for the parks (I don't know anything about them personally, but have read that you can get discounted tickets when you're attending a convention.)

There is absolutely no hassle to get from the DLH to Disneyland or DCA!

Going back and forth is most definitely worth it(in our opinion)!!!!

Don't miss out on going into the Parks---they are so close and easy to get to!

You can also ride the monorail over from Downtown Disney (right next to DLH) to the park if you want.

You may be thinking it's like wdw, which would be a hassle, but at the dl hotel you can see both parks. You'll be kicking yourself if you don't plan on going over!

I had to echo what everyone else is saying... The disneyland hotel is literally a 5 min walk from the parks. It is absolutely worth it to do a morning or an evening!
