how close is close?

One more question- you all say that Vistana/CPGV/Orange Lake are close to Disney, but can anyone tell me specifically HOW close? That's the only concern I still have- DH doesn't like to deal with traffic on his vacation lol.

Just for a point of reference- we usually stay on 192 W near the maingate west entrance and the little sideroad entrance that brings you in right by AK- truly no more than 2 minutes drive time from the parks. Basically we are unfamiliar with the rest of Orlando, so even though I've looked at the maps/driving directions to Vistana and Vistana Villages, Orange Lake and Cypress Point Grand Villas I STILL can't get any idea of drive time.

silver lake is on that road. - black lake

westgate is across the US 192 - so is Wynham but several miles further - Orange is much further down the road - if your husband doesn't like to drive - mark this off the list - although it is one of the best timeshares in Orlando.

Sheraton Vistana, Embassy and the Marriotts are over at the other end - closer to DD.

the Sheraton and Embassy are along 535, Marriott is 536/Epcot Center Drive. does this help?

the Sheraton, Embassy and Marriott are not in Kissimee - so there exact location is not on the map - but the roads are. So you can see where each is located.

I'm not totally familiar with the streets etc. but I do know that Star Island was on 192.

Hi...my 2 cents..

If familiar is important and spouse does not like new driving adventures go with Orange Lake...It will all look familiar after a two minute drive east on 192 and Black Lake Road appears on your left...
