How child-friendly is the Concourse Steakhouse?

We've had to frantically change some of our reservations around and it has been very difficult due to places being booked solid. We were able to get a reservation at the Concourse Steakhouse. Is this place child friendly? We will have a 1.5yr old boy with us. Thanks for any input!

Very child-friendly. It's a nice restaurant, but there's a fair amount of ambient noise in the area, as it's open to the concourse. There's loud music from Chef Mickey's, the monorails are coming and going, etc.

I've seen plenty of kids there, not to worry.

I agree with Lynne. Very childfriendly. My kids love to watch the monorail go by. The food is good (not great), the attmosphere is loud and a little cramped.

We brought our 3 yo twins there last may. They were actually tired and overstimulated (at WDW? never!) and one had a small meltdown, and noone even noticed because of the open atmosphere and the monorail/CM noise. They also loved the make your own sundaes (they're still talking about them!)

We were wondering about this, too.
If I remember correctly, there is a 1/2 wall between this rest. and CM's, right? So can you see all the hoopla over at CM's?

I agree w/ the other posters it is VERY child friendly and one of our best meals last trip! Our waiter was so attentive refilling our glasses (we seemed like a pack of camels!) The kids LOVED watching the monorail glide in and out of the bldg and you could hear (though not really see) a bit of what was going on at Chef Mickey's. The steaks were WONDERFUL, perfectly cooked, and dessert (though I can't remember what we had now) was so yummy we all commented upon it being one of our fav. meals of the trip! It was relaxing, not too loud, great ambiance. You'll love it!

we are not going with kids but I was wondering about this restaurant also
We made reservations for a late lunch at here and i was wondering what everyone thought about it since there aren't too many reviews for concourse. When other restaurants are booked solid and it was fairly easy to make reservations at concourse it made me wonder
if anyone can reassure me it would be appreciated!

The Concourse Steakhouse is very "kid friendly!" Our server went out of her way for our son.
