Staying offsite with a rental car and we're trying to keep our costs down wherever we can. We plan on buying 5 Flex tickets for the 4 parks and are looking for any ways to lessen the costs of parking. I know, theme parks are expensive, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Thanks in advance for any ideas you may have.

check & see if the hotel your staying in has a free shuttle to universal

the parking was $12 at UNiv($16 for preferred parking)..cant recall what it was at SW

If you had one annual pass, parking would be free.

But remember that the renewal fee on the preferred pass is $99, so once you've got it, you can keep it for the same price as the Power Pass.

If we rent a car can we park in the on-site hotel parking lot and just walk over? Please don't get mad at me just asking:confused3

You have to pay to park at the hotel though. Everyone does. There is a gate.

With the flex passes you only have to pay parking at one park each day (we used them last summer). If you go to US and pay to park and then go to Seaworld later just show your paid parking receipt and you don't have to pay to park again. The least expensive place to park was Wet n' Wild (as I recall it was $9/day).

Since Wet N Wild is the cheapest, the OP could pay the $9 for Wet n Wild and exit after paying. .. and then drive right to Universal with the Wet n Wild payment stub and the flex pass.

Citywalk parking is free after 6 pm.

If you are visiting in peak season when the parks are open late, arrive after 6pm when parking is free.

Get an AP for free parking.
