How can I post photos from Flickr?

How can I get photos from flickr to the disboards? I have used photobucket on the past

Find the photo in flickr you want to post.


Under Actions (above and to left of the picture), choose Show all sizes from the pull-down menu

Find the size you want to post and select that.

When the sized picture is displayed, select the picture and select properties from that menu.

It gives you the link you need to copy in order to post here on Disboards

It looks something like this:

Then, select the insert picture icon from the posting menu and paste that link. The picture will display like below:

Its actually easier than that now...

1. Click on the picture you want to share to bring up the page for just that image

2. click the (envelope/facebook/twitter) icon above the picture and to the right of the actions button

3. Make sure "grab the html/bb code is selected"

4. Select the size you want from the drop down, I like 1024 x 768

5. Click the code area and copy it...then paste it here

That is easier (make sure you have the BB button selected and copy that window however.

I just used the BB Code and it was really easy. Thanx for all the help. I just posted some photos in the Nikon sharing thread.

Flickr's terms actually require that any image posted from flickr contains a link back to the flickr page.
