How can I get a picture taken on a deserted main street?

I want to get a picture taken on a deserted Main Street. I have a PS at CP for 8:05am on an early entry day. Can I get in the park early enough to get the picture? Or do I need to try to get a PS for a non-EE day?

Your best bet is to get an early PS on a non Early Entry day. We done this twice and gotten some of the best pictures of MS!!

see if you can switch your ps to a non early entry day because at 8:05 everyone else will be at the park. But if your there at 8 on a regular day only the people with breakfast ps are allowed in.

You'll be able to walk down main st with almost noone there! we did this last April and it was great! then when you are done eating , the park will just be opening and you are already to be one of the first in line for the rides! we did most of fantasyland in about an hour doing this!

Thanks, I was able to get an 8:05 PS for a non- early entry day during our stay. What time do they let people into the park on an early entry day?

Early entry day the parks open at 8, I think they let people in at 8. On non-EE days, I think they hold people with PS at the gate until 8:00, then they let you in to eat.

SAme thing-- we did CRT on a non early day at 8:15 AM,, WE were the only people walking down mainstreet since most were aldready there,, Great pics on Family in front of Cin Castle w/ no one else,,,,,,

I would be there a 5-10 minutes before 8, even though they might not let you in until 8 a.m. We did the PS at CP on a non-EE day, and it was like having our own personal EE! Great for pics, and when breakfast is over you can walk on Splash Mountain or Dumbo! Also CP is good about holding your PS a few minutes for you. We were probably about 10 minutes late for our PS because sister's camera wouldn't work. There was no problem when we got to CP a little late. We also had a CM offer to take pictures for us, which was really cool.

We took our deserted Magic Kingdom picture at night.
A couple of years ago we stayed for E-night & we were on the last boat out of the night at Splash Mountain. Our family was the only ones on the boat so we had to get the picture at the end. By the time we were off the ride, waited for the picture and made a restroom stop, we were walking up Main Street about 1/2 hour or so after closing. It WAS deserted, but also 2:30 in the morning! Needless to say we took alot of pictures.

We had a pre-opening PS at Cindy's a couple of years ago. As we strolled toward the hub, Mickey and Minnie were coming the other way. We have a photo of them with our daughter, castle in the background and not another person in the shot. I doubt we'd ever get that kind of luck again.
