What character will be where and when on the days we go. My daughters love the toy story bunch and would love to see snow white and Alice. We know about PFF tangled meet and greet and pixie hallow, but where are times posted? Is it just " known" where to find the characters or actually on paper somewhere?
Thanks :)

Hi!

When you enter the Park, you will want to get a map and a show guide. They are just as you go through the turnstile. On the show guide you will find many of the "everyday" character meet and greets listed. These include Mickey, Minnie, Princess Fantasy Faire, Tangled, Tink & friends, and Pooh & friends).

If there are any other characters that you want to meet and greet (not just in a parade or show), you can stop in at City Hall and ask. They will be able to look it up and give you information specific to THAT day.

HTH,
Dreams

I'm glad you posted! I've been wondering this, too. I'm so used to looking at the character website for WDW and had no idea if one existed for DLR or not?!

Do you know if Flynn appears regularly with Rapunzel - or is she just by herself?

Thanks!

I have another tangent question. Can you walk through attractions like Rapunzel and Pixie Hollow when the characters aren't there to check out the decorations, or are they roped off/locked up?

I can answer YES for Pixie Hallow, but Tangled is inside a building so I assume it is locked when not in use. Pixie Hallow we were able to just walked right up.

The Tangled area is locked up, and warning the wait times are LONG...we have waited even off season and the line starts about 2 hours in advance. Just a heads up.

I am interested in checking out Pixie Hollow too. My boys aren't interested in the fairies/princesses much so I doubt they would stand in line just to check things out. I am a fan of the environments the imagineers create so going when no fairies are there would be cool with me :)

With PH yes, walk through when the line is shut down. It's really adorable with the small houses and things for the fairies. It usually shuts down around 5 so you should have time after that before it gets dark to see everything. With Rapunzel it's inside so you can't check it out, the line isn't all that neat either and I've heard they've removed the hair from the building because they are putting her in the PFF soon. I don't know if that's true but that's what I heard. As for Flynn, sometimes he's there but usually it's just Rapunzel. The line for Rapunzel is long, it's usually listed at 90 minutes. However, we were lucky one day and walked up just as the reopened the line (they close it when it gets too long) and we only waited 45 minutes. We were happy. :)

Unlike WDW many characters are allowed to rome around Fantasyland or Tomorrowland. They are not stuck in one spot only.

From late morning to about 3:00pm Princesses and others rotate out to the side paths of the Castle. Most guests can walk within a few feet of Snow White or Cinderella, and miss them because they are fixed on the drawbridge on the center path.

Characters are on stage (out) for about 20-30 minutes at a time. There is no ridged schedule except that usually Cinderella, Snow White and/or her Evil Queen, Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, Mad Hatter, and Alice are there nearly every day.

What is the most fun is that the Characters will often interact with each other, make up stories, and tell jokes.

Monday at 2:30 at the Wishing Well on the right side it was very crowded with more Character than guests. This included Snow White, The Evil Queen, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, The Mad Hatter, Red Queen, Peter Pan, and Mary Poppins and Bert walked thourgh. Snow White and Peter Pan were discussing why ther were so many ducks. The Hatter and I discussed his opinion of Alice. He was going on and on on how she smelled like Pizza, and that was why a baby was crying.

Often even on a busy day, they can be all alone, but are a lot of fun to talk with. They are all very good actors and stay in character.

If you do not see Princess on either side, come back in 15-20 minutes and you will find one.

It is great fun to talk with the Character in a less formal setting.

Videos I have taken there.

Here is A Beauitful Snow White and famous Peter Pan telling about Tiger Lilly.

Again, Look around the Castle in the Early afternoon, and with a little patience you can avoid long lines at the Princess Fantasy Faire or Tangled, and have a unique experience.

Here is the Disneyland Web page that I was talking about with "Gingersnap" Alice.

Great news issued today.
Next week they are re-opening the Coke Refreshment Corner.

At 2:30 nearly every afternoon, the Mad Hatter and Alice arrive un-announced at the Piano at the Coke Corner.
Often other Wonderland Characters join them.

They set up a Game of Musical Chairs, using the Piano Player playing Disney Classics.
No Lines, no waiting, just a lot of fun with the Characters with the Mad Hatter leading in lots of Jokes and fun.

They should resume this next week.
Short video I shot when Princess Jasmine joined them....

Excellent! We leave in 3 weeks so perfect timing!!

That's great news!! You will LOVE the Musical Chairs with Alice and the Mad Hatter. When my girls played it was only Alice and the Hatter, no other characters but they had so much fun!! It was a great surprise for us, we had no idea they did that, DBF and I were looking at pins, sometimes park guests set up with their pin books over there, and the girls ran over and said "Mom, Mom, ALICE wants us to play musical chairs with her, canwecanwecanwecanwe?" Of course I said yes....LOL How could I not? That was......oh wow......probably 4-5 years ago and they still talk about it! :)

Are the characters in these walkways around the castle year round or only in the off season?? I'm hoping to be able to find some around there so we don't have to wait in line at the PFF. What times of the day are they usually out there??
