How can I find out where flight originates from?

I have tried googling this question and even our flight number with no luck. I am trying to find out where our flight originates from. The flight number appears to be somewhat unique as it only shows on the day we are traveling as our flight departure time is slightly different than the other days.

I know I could wait to find out the day we leave (next Saturday) by checking the flight status but I'd love to know ahead of time. I'm just curious how many stops it has before it reaches us :thumbsup2

In case it helps, we are on SWA flight 3097 on 11/12.

Thanks in advance, :hug:

It does look unique because when I put it into flight aware, the only thing that came up was a flight last March. They don't show future flights but I thought it might have been used recently. Have you tried calling SWA?

where are you departing from? If you are that curious, call SWA. They can answer you quite quickly.

Hi. If you can tell me the airport you are leaving from, I may be able to help you out. I have what's called a "Sky Guide" and that lists all available flights from all North American airports.

Thank you ~ RDU

Part of my curiosity also was wondering why this wasn't readily available on the web but if feels like the flight itself is an anomaly :rotfl:

I appreciate it :)

Usually with Southwest you have to go onto their flight schedules page and use the find function to find the flight numbers. I did this and found the routing for SWA 3097:

It starts the day at Little Rock, AR (LIT) at 6:50AM and goes to Saint Louis, MO(STL) and arrives at 8:05. Leaves STL at 8:40AM and arrives at RDU at 11:25AM (time zone change). Leaves RDU at noon and arrives at MCO at 1:45PM. Leaves MCO at 2:25PM and heads to Chicago Midway (MDW).

THANK YOU!!! :flower3::banana:

This is exactly what I was looking for in addition to "how" to find it. I appreciate you doing this for me!

Thanks,
