How can I find military pen pals?

Does anyone out there know who or what organization I contact to establish a pen-pal exchange for my first graders with active military? My kids would love to send pictures, letters and such. It would be a good way for them to express their feelings in this uncertain time. No matter how we try to shelter them, they hear some of what is going on.
So, who do I contact?
