How can I find a DIS'er?

When DH and I were at Epcot last week, we ate dinner at LeCellier. Well, about halfway through dinner, the girl at the table next to us saw my Home Depot Mickey head and asked if I was a DIS'er. It turns out she is too! Her name is Courtney and her husband's name is Terry. They were awesome and we enjoyed talking to them.

I have forgotten her DIS name! I would love to PM her. Does anyone know her? How can I find her? Thanks!

It's MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! I've had to be anti-Disney for a week to recover, so I haven't gotten on here since we got back. I started feeling the bug again when people wanted to see our vacation pictures last night. Got on here this morning, and first thing I did was run your user name to see if I had it right...(had the scrap with the info from paperbackswap.com) Tada!!! You know, T and I kicked ourselves for not figuring out how to get in touch with you guys while we were still there. That was the best dinner we had our whole trip!

That is so nice. Enjoy your new friendship. Would be nice to meet an other Diser. Had the chance last Spring but didn't work out. We won't be going back until Spring "07 maybe then. Have to save up for the next trip.

I'm so glad that I wore my lime green Mickey heads while at WDW!

It's funny, but when Courtney (aka deacondarling) and her DH sat down I noticed her lime green shirt and said to my husband "I wonder if she is a DIS'er?". I didn't want to ask though for fear that she would look at me like I was a moron. Turns out that she saw my Mickey head hanging from my bag and was asking her husband if she should say anything to me! She finally did say something and we all wound up talking all through dinner. We sat there for hours... yes, HOURS! The Disney CM's literally had to call special busses to take us back to our respective resorts. We all were a little embarrassed, but we had so much fun chatting with each other that we didn't feel too bad.

So if anyone wonders if wearing the DIS stuff helps, it does! And if you are wondering if you should say something to someone that you think is a DISer, DO IT!!! You never know what kind of cool people you will meet!

This just happened to me yesterday at EPCOT for the Food and Wine Festival, I was leaving the concert and saw a woman eating something "interesting" asked her what it was and vala she was wearing a "dis" pin and a green Mickey. I think her name is JudyS she said she would pm when she returned to Michigan. It was neat to finally meet someone and we chatted for a little while. I guess I just need to be a little more observative because I was chatting with her for a few minutes before it hit me!
