We are thinking of doing a trip do DLR with some family. But it looks like the Monday-Wednesday option we have is going to be the week of Halloween, with Halloween falling on that wed. Just wondering if crowds are going to be over the top ridiculous Halloween day and those preceding days?

The weekdays during the day did not seem any busier than other weekdays that time of year. The Monday before Halloween last year was nicely uncrowded. Halloween itself was busier - I didn't see how it was Halloween night with the party.

We went for a few hours in the middle of the day on Halloween and it was EMPTY. We got FPs for Star Tours when we walked in (Maxpass), but they wouldn’t scan and the guy was like, “uhhh, it doesn’t make a difference, there’s no wait.” This was around 2:00. Zero standby wait for Star Tours. We got pictures in front of the castle and there are only like two other people in them.

I was sorry we had plans and had to leave at 4!

ETA: Of course, there was a party that night, so it would have gotten busier and we’d have gotten kicked out whenever the party started.

what? hahaha. we were there for Halloween week and Halloween itself was totally dead - at least at DL. Space never went above a 15min standby wait.

OP - it was nice last year, esp Halloween day - the caveat being if you stay Halloween you get kicked out of whatever park the party is at. I'm sure DCA was a madhouse. We did both parks and party and we got so much done we were bored the next day.

We were there on Halloween also and left around 4 to go trick or treating with cousins who live in OC. I have never seen the parks so empty. We walked on everything! The day before I waited in line at cozy cone for 40 minutes. On Halloween same time of day there wasnt a line at all. I think it's a great time to go!
