How busy will the week before Easter be?

We are looking at visiting on March 24-29 and are wondering if this is the crazy busy spring break time?

Sometimes Springs breaks are before Easter Sunday or after Easter Sunday. We are So Cal locals but our Spring Break is April 1 - 5. Our stay @ VGC will be from March 31st to April 2nd.

The week before and the week after Easter are considered the peak of spring break and are indeed very busy at Disneyland. I haven't looked up the local school schedule this year, but Anaheim schools had both those weeks off last year. Many other close by districts had one week or the other or both. My kids go to school in northern California. We have the week after Easter off; my sister's kids in another district have the week before Easter. Obviously, there is variation in spring breaks across districts, cities, states. Typically spring break at Disneyland is about a six week period overall matching up with spring breaks of schools across the nation with the Easter weeks being busiest.

The week before Easter is our Spring Break and I'm in Northern California. I would agree with other posters about it being busy.

I'm trying to figure out the best time to go. DS college spring break is the week before Easter and mine (I work for a school) is the week after Easter. Maybe we are better off waiting until May. Do you think that the spring break time is busier than summer?

May should be nice. Look out for grad nights, refurbishments, and abbreviated entertainment schedules though.

Spring break days the week before or after Easter can feel more crazy than a typical summer weekday. This is very subjective though.

ETA: Guess I should have pointed out that anytime in May before Memorial Day weekend is best.

I am in Central California and our Spring Break is the week before and the Monday after Easter. Our schools are out for the summer the end of May..

We are thinking of visiting the same week. Can anyone tell me if the crowds are comparable to Thanksgiving week (the only time we have gone in the past), or worse? TIA
