We are planning a trip the first couple of weeks in November. Touring plans has the crowds as 5 and 6 out of 10 most days. We usually go first 2 weeks in December, but with the grandkids school schedules, decided to try November instead. We never buy LL. Just can't bring myself to pay twice for rides. We never have an issue with standby. Going for 15 days helps also!
As to swimming, it depends on what you are used to. We are from Seattle, so 70 is a hot day for us. Our grandkids are usually the only ones in the pool. That and the occasional other folks from colder climates. Kinds of excited to see WDW in the time leading up to Thanksgiving. In all our years (since 1995) this will be a first. Another first is DW and I are going kidless/grandkidless for Epcot flower and garden fest in May. Not looking forward to the heat!
