How busy was fort the last few days (halloween)

Is it chaotic or bearable.
It's our 1st trip next Halloween and I'm starting to panic now that it's gonna be madness.

We have been every Halloween since 2008 and it's a great time to be at the Fort! Halloween night is madness, the farther away we got from the water during trick or treat the less crazy it was. But it was still awesome! Lots of decorations and lots of carts "looping" especially those last few days before Halloween, but we love it.

This year was crazier than ever very chaotic way too many golf carts golf cart traffic jams throughout the whole fort it did not matter what loop you were in the whole place was madness. I ran out of candy after 1-1/2 hours my neighbor had just enough candy for the night I asked they brought 20 bags of candy I had brought 9 bags doubling up next year. Oh and way too many unsupervised kids of all ages. But all is quiet now.

We left saturday and it was crazy, but i heard Sunday there were alot more check outs. We weren't at the Fort on Halloween, left early for the party at the MK which was very crowded. I can't even imagine what next year will be like when Halloween falls on a saturday.

We were at the Fort for 2 weeks, left 11/1. Had a great time, but I will not stay for Halloween night again. It got very crowded on the 30th and 31st, and the next morning we had to pickup broken beer bottles from our site, not very magical. Not sure why they threw them on the ground when the trash can was only steps away.

The rules say one car per site but in our loop (300) starting on the 30th a majority of sites had 2 and some 3 cars which I think contributed to the congestion. I was surprised that nobody from Disney seemed to come around and ask them to take the second car to the overflow.

Don't get me wrong I love FW and other than those 2 nights it was wonderful. We will be back in December but I am going to try and get a different loop.

I also noticed last week the large amount of golf carts that were available in the parking lot at the entrance all week until friday. I was wondering if people just did reserve the cart for the night of Halloween to go trick or treating.

Even though it was mad crazy, crazier than normal for Halloween. We will be back next Halloween as well. Just love the fort at Halloween I can deal with it for 2-3 days of madness. it's the happiest place on earth!
