Hi all,
so what do you think? How busy last week of sept to the first week of oct???

We walked right onto every ride & the weather was PERFECT (til the hurricane hit)!

Just posted this in your other thread, but just in case ;)

Went last year Sept. 28 - Oct. 3. Very hot and humid. Very low crowds. Most Fastpass machines weren't even open. Rode Buzz 3x without a line at all, like, no one in front of us. They let us stay on for another round of Tommorrowland Indy Speedway. Walked onto Small World, into Philharmagic, no wait for Snow White, 5 minute line for Mansion, 10 minute line for Splash, no wait for Pirates, 5 minute wait for Thunder. At Epcot, 10 minute wait for Soarin, walked on to Test track. At MGM, walked onto RnR and Star Tours, and Great Movie Ride. Sunday started getting really busy, but still walked onto Kilimanjaro in AK, FP'd Kali, 20 minute line for Tough to Be a Bug, 20 minute for Dinosaur. By Monday it was packed, tried MK, but couldn't get on anything, 90 minute wait for Peter pan and Small world, so gave up, it was our last day anyway. Evidently some schools start Fall Break that week, who knew? So, parks empty up till Oct. 2, after that, yuck. But mind you, only other trip was MLK weekend, so no real busy times to compare it to. BTW, we were there for the free dining, too.

Hope this helps! :goodvibes

Late Sep/Early Oct is the perfect time to go IMO. Last time we went was right after a hurricane and there were NO lines. We walked on to pretty much everything. We're going the same time this year in hopes that it is nice and calm again. :goodvibes Hope you have a great trip!

Wow! I'm so happy to hear this. I was afraid with the free dining it would be crowded. We are going from 09/24 - 10/01. That should be perfect. I can't wait. We have never gone to the parks when it wasn't spring break or fall break.

This is a great time to go. I was there Sept 29 to Oct 4 last year with free dining and the crowds were light. EMH at MK, at night was the only time I felt it was really crowded. We had great weather, except it rained really hard one day at AK for about 2 hours, but had ponchos, so it wasn't too bad. Have a great trip!!!
