from my experience, i have been to uo the last week of august and first week of september some years back.

once school is back in session, i found the weekdays quite light.

check the UO park calendar section.
you will see the hours of the parks for your dates in question.

if the parks close early/ 7pm, then you will know it will be, more likely, light on crowds.
