I'm considering visiting Universal and then going to WDW in April and I would like to know from those of you who have gone during this time. How crowded is Universal at this point is it out of control due to spring break or is it tolerable?

Thank you

You may want to post this at the Universal/IOA board as this is for trip reports, but to answer your question, it may be busier than normal. April is Spring Break and Easter time so crowds may be heavier, but if you stay on site, you will have nothing to worry about with the FOTL access.

Hope that helps and have fun!

Spidey's right. The week before and after Easter are traditionally very busy. This is the time I go each year though.

If you stay on site you can enjoy the luxury of front of the line access to the most popular attractions which makes the hefty room rate well worth it. Your wait time on average would be no more than 15 minutes. (I waited on line 90 min last year for Spiderman, week b4 Easter)

Even if you don't stay on-site, you can still manage some of the waits by using the Universal Express system which gives you a ticket with a specific timeframe to return to the attraction and go to the front of the line. You'll still have to brave some of the lines though.

I hope this helps!

PS: If you're considering an on-site stay, the Hard Rock is already sold out for the week b4 Easter so you'll want to make your reservations ASAP!
