How busy is the Late November/Early December 7 day cruise?

Hey all

I was wondering if any of you could help me out on this issue?! My girlfriend and I were planning on going to DLP between November 29th and December 6th, but we are now seriously debating the 7 night cruise instead, leaving on 27th! A friend of mine is on the Magic and he can book me on from his end, but I know from previous expreience that he can only book me on 6-8 weeks in advanced depending on how busy the ship is.

We can't really risk booking flights if we won't be able to get on, we would rather just go to Paris. If anyone has been on the cruise in previous years around this time please let me know!

The ships generally always sail full or close to it. Our 11/15 7 days sold out about a month before the sailing. That is considered off season so the rates are lower. They could run specials to fill up the ship too.

I would say your chances would be very good to get on this cruise. We went on the 11/29/03 7 day which is the one right after Thanksgiving and our cruise meet group was watching available rooms hoping for upgrades, Several got them, and there seemed to be rooms available right up to sailing in many categories (except1,2,3, 7 and 12). They also had a Florida Discount Rate, which coincides with the slower seasons. We had several WDW cast members in our group that got their rooms under the CM program. I am sure there will be rooms available when the CM's can start to get them. We loved the cruise at this time of year and are already booked on the 11/27/04.
