How busy is Thanksgiving?

I've looked on two websites, and each one says something different. The last two years we were is Disney in late March (but with Easter in April), and we didn't find the parks too busy. I'm just wondering how Thanksgiving compares. We will arrive on 11/27 (Thanksgiving day) and stay through 12/3.

I have reservations at Boatwrights for Thanksgiving dinner, but I'd like to go to Downtown Disney for Earl of Sandwich. I just don't want to fight crowds all night.

Thanks for any advice.

It's busy!! We have been there the last few years for this weekend, and it's a little crazy. Downtown Disney in particular, so you may want to rethink that. The parks are crowded, but not totally unbearable. World of Disney in DD...forget about it!! I went in there and you couldn't even move. The lines were super long, and the people were just nuts -- pushing into you and everything.

On a positive note, it does start to clear out on Sunday, so it shouldn't be too bad after that. But Thursday - Saturday is nuts. Have you thought about what you are doing on Thanksgiving besides having your meal? My DH and I went to the water park last year, and it was awesome -- not crowded at all. Have fun!! :cool1:

Thank you! Our plane doesn't land until around 5:00, so we don't have time to do much that day except eat dinner. I guess the safe bet would be to stick with Boatwrights. We can go to Downtown Disney after Thanksgiving weekend.
