How busy is Martin Luther King Weekend?

I was wondering how crowded last year's Martin Luther King weekend was..
Cheerleaders will also be there from January 12 - 14.



I'm planning on a trip from Jan 11th (Thursday) - Jan 16th (Thursday)
Just a small 5 night quick trip. Were going to stay at POR, I haven't booked yet. This really is the only time I can probaly go... School for me starts Jan 9th but the next weekend is martin luther king day so I get a day off for that, and I don't go to school on fridays so the dates fit for a perfect long weekend trip.. Since im not going to be there long I was hoping its REALLY SLOW during this time in Jan..

Anytime a holiday is thrown in, attendance will spike some, even during slower periods at WDW. We have been to WDW during MLK week in the past, and likely will go over the same period in 1/07. The UG crowd calendar is predicting 6's and 7's (on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being crazy) the week leading up to MLK, and then 5 beginning 1/16. In my personal experience, the Tue after MLK can be pretty busy too, but by Wed crowds seems to level off.
