hi all
now i see that small world & hildasmuriel are going just about easter, but also wondered what ppls experiences of easter are like???

we have only been begining of june, and in december - both midweek, and its lookin likely we could go at easter - or easter tuesday to friday....

thing is - it wud just be me & the kids (5 & 3), so how busy is going to be, and how manageable with 1 adult and 2 kids - is this gonna cause any probs on any rides?????

trying to figure the logistics of it all, as dont want to be completely stressed, but it will be a relaxed trip - due to still trying to get our 'proper' visit booked for halloween!!!!!!!!!

any advice/pointers appreciated lol

anyone been at easter at all??? and help for 1 adult & 2 kids :cloud9:

This will be the 4th year in a row we have been at Easter.

It is quite busy but manageable. Last year it didnt seem as bad but because Easter was so early not all schools were on holiday then - some areas had a spring break later in April.

Sorry - this is my first Easter visit.
Last year I went during the school holidays, but they were not at Easter (due to Easter being so very early).

Wow Small World, almost simultaneous posting there. :rotfl:

bless the pair of u!!!

so - we would be ok with getting around getting a few rides in, without feeling like its jam packed!!!!

have been huntin for info on rides, and sum of the rides say children under 1.2m must be accompanied - so guessing, as ds1 is just over 1.2m he will be ok by himself and i can go with ds2.... obviously ill worry - but will make sure i strap him in tight!!!
will mean tho that btm will be out, unless they will let us sit 2 across in the seat?!?!?!

hmmmmmm never realised how hard it can be if ur a single parent now!

They often allow 3 to sit on BTM together so you should be fine

We found if we did EMH, had a rest later on then stayed til park closed we got loads done

excellent!!

that also sounds a good plan - go in early, and then maybe have a break later, the park is open til 8pm so maybe btm in the dark :thumbsup2

its gonna be more relaxed, as i will be shattered with 2 kids :lmao: all that character chasing etc..... will make one aim i think of getting ds1 to finally see cinderella!!!! and then we can just chill and enjoy!! just need to get dh to find out when he has to work over easter - as france might have easter monday off so then i can get booking - tho not lookin forward to the driving - but at least i get a rest when we stop to see dh!!! and then i can get begging for dlrp for halloween!! lol

We find an idea is to have a main meal at lunchtime - about 2ish . This gives us a break from the crowds and means we are not fighting to eat in the evening with everyone else and use that time to get on some rides

think that sounds good plan - will def try and fill the boys up at brekkie, and maybe take sum rolls for a snack too (and of course we have salon mickey lol)

am gonna take some fruit n bits too - as they do like their fruit, but have checked out places to eat, and think its gonna be counter to make it cheap as i can, and just have the emphasis on chill n enjoy - as we can do more when we are a family WHEN/IF we return in october (its gonna be when im sure lol)

thanks for ur help - its great bein able to sound it out with sum1 who knows what the crowds are like - and must remember to contact ds2s paed for a letter for him - as the easy pass will be a must with just me to look after him!!!

thank u again small world - u will prob spot me there as a stressed mum with a 5yr stropping and a 3yr runnin off/totally hyper!!! wud be nice to see u and hildas for a bit of adult convo - if ur about!! (of course, i DO need to book it first :lmao: )

If things go according to plan I should be wearing one of Tinkerbell 766's tshirt DISigns so I should be easy to spot. :teeth:
