How busy are rides the day before it closes for a refurb!?!

Just wondering, for example, if POTC will be really busy on Thursday Feb. 2nd since that is the last day to ride it for a month a half? That is our first day in the parks but because we don't have MM we were planning on starting in CA & heading over in the afternoon sometime to ride POTC. Just curious if anyone had any ideas about this...I'll definately be watching wait times on the app but we were definately hoping to ride it at least twice! TIA for the advice!

That's a good point! Just wondering if anyone has any idea from past experience if it will be crazy busy on POTC that day before it shuts down for refurb?

No one knows because no one ever knows how many boats are running unless they go inside and count. Sometimes a ride operates at full capacity up until it closes, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes a ride doesn't operate at full capacity on any given day of the week. Is it going to rain? As an indoor ride, the queue length is affected by rain. If you want to ride it, you only have 1 day, you're just going to have to wait in the queue as it is when you get there. If you want to ride it twice, you'll have to wait in line twice.
