How booked is December?

I am thinking about a sisters trip for Dec. 19th - 23rd. Are there any good ADRs left or is everything already booked up? That might help me with my decision

What if you were not staying on site? I am pretty sure you can make an ADR if you are not staying on property. Did you try? I know the second week of Dec is pretty full. Good Luck!

I have tried to book a few things recently for our December trip (2nd to 9th) and have had zero luck. After becoming familar with these boards I now realize that folks book ADRs for their entire trip 180 days out! Live and learn. So I just plan to keep calling and hope for cancellations.

We're going December 2-8 and I know that week is booked and most likely the follow couple weeks are too. Keep an eye on the December ADR cancellation/trading thread and you might find something.

We are going 12/25-12/30. We decided about 3 weeks ago that we were going, and I have been calling every day in order to secure ADR for our trip. I managed to get something for every day of our trip and in popular restaurants. I did have to take early ADR for Boma and Ohana (4:20, 4:45) for dinner, but I'm just happy to be able to go! I just called today and was able to get into Whispering Canyon Cafe.

The only place that we wanted to go was Liberty Tree Tavern for Christmas dinner and still can't get in. Just be persistent, flexible, and have a list of places that you are willing to go to. I was calling everyday (sometimes 2x a day) to get ADR's that we wanted.

I think she meant she hasn't reserved a room yet and thus doesn't have a reservation number. Regardless, you can still call and use your home phone number to check availability. You are well within the time to reserve, even if offsite.

I am trying to get Citricos for Christmas dinner and the only thing they have is 8:25, to late for me, Christmas is already over So i am going to AP hope I like it there

It will be pretty difficult to get any popular restaurants. I called at 7am on my 180 days out and had to wait over an hour on hold. When I finally got through, I didn't get the times I wanted although I did get all the restaurants I wanted.

I still want to get an earlier ADR at the California Grill and I've been calling every single day for cancellations and nothing available yet. It's getting frustrating. Then I tried moving around some other ADR's and no luck either.
