How big should I print the license plate for strollers?

I am printing a customized Stroller license plate for a friend, but don't know what size. Also, do you laminate them?

I printed an 8.5 x 11 (regular printer paper)
and laminated it (in case of rain- and bus rides)
then I punched holes in it at home
and bought zip ties to attach it with .
I made a big loop with the zip ties and attached it to the paper - and then attached zip ties to the stroller and connected the paper.

what really was the most helpful for the stroller was the red bandana I attached to the stroller handle. It made the stroller stand out in the sea of strollers.
I would recommend also adding a ribbon or string to your stroller.

thanks for the suggestion! Glad the OP asked what size. I didn't remember the slot on the back for the tag being that big.
