Unfortunately it backfired on my wife. She had a bottle of water in her purse and the restraint + motion of the ride caused the bottle to crack and soak all of her stuff After that she went back to using the lockers.

Just stand a bit further apart and pretend you don't know each other - that's what we've done in the past. They don't run a DNA sample

Yup, exactly what we do. I take the kids hats, sunglasses, phones, or any other loose things and put in a locker with my crossbody bag. My DH has a cooler backpack with water bottles and all his medical devices in the pockets (he's diabetic) that with a bit of creative squishing we can get to fit in another locker. We just act like we aren't with each other and go in.

Oh no! Mine is way too small for a bottle - just fits my phone and ID, so I should be good!

My son broke sunglasses and daughter cracked a phone on gringots. Might want to rethink the idea that breakables are safe in mini fanny packs or cargo pockets

I can fit my Loungefly backpack, but I really have to squeeze, push, and compress it. It can't be full. It has scratched up the corners of the outside front pocket. If you really like yours, don't do. Bring something smaller. I have a little bag that I bring, or we use a mini Jansport fabric backpack, if we don't have the huge camera bag that requires us to rent a big locker. They are just a little taller than a 20oz plastic squeeze/sport bottle on it's side.

I actually tested this today and an empty 2 Liter Bottle of Coke barely fit into the small locker. So height wise it's about the height of a 2 liter bottle lying on it's side.

There was room for one backpack that isn't filled to capacity plus one 2 liter bottle of coke.
