How big are room number signs on door?

How big are the room number signs on the door? Trying to design a stitch figure to go around it but don't want it to be to big or small!

I've been told a 7.5 inch diameter. What I don't know is if there is a peep hole underneath and how far down it is, if there is one.

I just looked at our pictures. It appears that the peephole is located at "4:30" on our door that opened on the right side....our door number was 7.5 inches and I know that because I made a wreath to go around the number.
