How bad is New Years?

My DH and I want to go on a trip in December. We are debating on going weeks VS weekends, Holidays VS after Holidays. Here are our three choices...

December 14-19
December 18-23
December 27-January 1

Which ones would be the least crowded. We don't mind crowds, but not uncomfortable crowds. We had our honeymoon in 2003 December 29-Jan 6 and I don't remember really thinking "this SUCKS" but then again it was our honeymoon. Then last year we went December 14-20 and it was great at the beginning and HORRIBLE on the weekend which was towards the end of our trip. Help!!!! Opinions please if you have been any of these times. I also want to try and either do MVMCP again or New Years again.

December 18-23 will be a great time to go. No weekend crowds-- pre-holiday crowds. We went this week two years ago and it was great-- parks were gorgeous, crowds were light. Hint-- if you go this week, make sure ALL of your holiday shopping (including food) is done before you go. That way you can get home and enjoy the holidays without stress!
