We are heading to Ft Lauderdale(to visit my parents )June 17th, for 10 days. And it just so happens we have park hopper passes left from last yrs trip to Disney. So We decided(ok, I decided, the rest of the family is just going along :rotfl: )to do 2 days at Disney. I picked the days June 21 and June 22, which is a Tues and a Wed.. How bad will the crowds be. Ive been to Disney about 12 times, and ALWAYS have gone off season. So Ive never been when its going to be busy. Will it be crazy busy?? We are not staying onsite(cant afford it, but we will have a car)...Also the other new thing is bringing a 10 month old baby with us. I have 3 kids, and never brought them as babies, but started them off there around 18 months, so this trip should be interesting all the way around...I love Disney so much..Im hoping I wont regret going Mid June and with a 10 month old.

It's not bad at all. We've been several times the week after or before Father's Day. It is quite warm by then though. We follow the get there early, take a nice lunch, take a swim break in the afternoon and then go back in the evening plan and have no problems.

It is managable.... crowds start to pick up though as schools from up north let out. By end of June parks are crowded

In contrast to off season it is jam packed. But again, that is in contrast to off season. I have been off season before where there is no wait for anything. Here is a poll I did of the baord on when people's children get out for summer. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=768284

along with the above listed poll, realize that many schools from very large population centers on the east coast are getting out late this year (snowdays). Because of this the largest wave of people hitting Orlasndo is likely to happen after the 17th of June and perhaps as late as the 25th or so.

That being said, IF YOU GO FIRST THING IN THE MORNING, you will be fine for the first two to three hours. Then, as another poster stated, leave the park earlier and go to the pool or whatever. You will get more done in those first two to three hours then you will in much of the rest of the day.

We normally go in October. However, we went last June and found it VERY crowded by comparison. We ended up skipping Fantasyland completely.

Just looked at touringplans "best days" list and the 17th thru the 27th is listed as 8 out of a possible 10 - so it's worse then I would have thought! I guess we're just so good at planning our day that they don't seem that bad to me! It really does make a difference to get there EARLY! And believe me - I'm normally not an early morning person at all - but at WDW it obviously makes a difference in how much I enjoy myself.

I totally agree - GET THERE EARLY...We are in Orlando normally during 6 to 8 level crowds...and I am the kind of person that would sleep in to the end of the world if allowed!!! But by god I am different at WDW. "Get up!! Everyone get up!! We'll miss rope drop!!!!" hahahahah - I love it
