How bad is Labor Day?

I’m here now. I expected the park to be slammed. It’s a thousand times better than I expected. Crowds are reasonably light!

Do you have a "lucky" gate? You seem to be first in a lot.

The wait times are pretty long right now on the app. I wouldn't say it's uncrowded. Plus, the parking lot was full by 12:30 (M&F). That only happens that early on crazy crowded days.

This morning was great! It’s definitely crowded now but totally doable and we are having a great day.

Left around 1:30 because I was tired. That’s the hard part about waking up at the crack of dawn and doing rope drop Anyway, DCA was busier than DL. Crowds were very light this morning. Did space, Indy, pirates, cars, and Goofy all by 10:15. Crowds Picked up around 11, but still tolerable.

Finally saw all the Pixar Shorts, took some pictures at bugsland with the photo pass photographer, and got the Ants on a log churro. Had a great “last day of Pixar Fest” today

I'm very curious as to whether they are releasing less FPs for Incredicoaster/not running all the cars??? I can't believe how early the FPs for it have been running out! Unless it really is related to last chance Pixar Fest/Bugs Land visitors.

I left about an hour ago. Yikes. The line of cars to get into the parking structure stretched all the way to the 5. Getting into the lot was worse than getting on Peter Pan. They need a Fast Pass for it.

They didn't release any fastpasses for it today from what I heard.

How interesting! I'm wondering if that was true for yesterday as well.... My oldest is over the ride, so we weren't looking but lucked into many other FPs with our MP. Definitely thought it was bizarre that we never saw Incredicoaster come through.

There were no FPs for it today. It was down for a couple of hours this morning and was down almost the entire day on Saturday.

If the CM working the gate is a woman, I turn on the charm and simply ask if she'll let me in a few minutes early. She always will. ;-). JK ;-).

Mickey & Friends parking structure is open again. I am tempted to head over with DH in about 90 minutes.

Final verdict, we had a great time and so glad we went! We ran a little late, got to Mickey and Friends at 8:00, through the gates at DL by 8:30 (a bit of a wait to get into the structure, but then we walked to the parks and there was no line at the DTD security and no line to get into either park).

DL was quite nice until about lunchtime, then it got noticeably busier but not unbearably so. We stayed at DL until 2:45, hopped to DCA where we rode Soarin with a fast pass we had picked up earlier with MaxPass, then had ice cream at Clarabelle’s and left around 3:45. My friends were over in DCA for a while and said it was pretty packed! Maybe people saying goodbye to bugs land or Pixar Fest? Either way, we all had fun and don’t regret the decision to go on Labor Day one bit! Cheers!

Interesting. I had noticed no FP available for Incredicoaster yesterday but just assumed they were already gone by the time I started looking around lunchtime. Then checked the app again at around 4:15 and got one for 5-6pm. I had assumed it was a cancelled MP but I guess not? I will say that we got there right at 5pm and were off the ride by 5:09. It was crazy. Was only one other party going thru the FP return line with us so now makes more sense if they weren’t even offering them before that.
