How bad are the double beds at Dolphin?

I am not holding my breath that we'll get upgraded to a King but BF and I are both relative average sized people (I'm 5'5 and weigh about 135 and he's 6'0 and weighs about 220) and we both like to stretch when we sleep. Will we end up sleep in seperate beds due to the size of the beds at the Dolphin? When I first booked (it's 100% non refundable because it was booked with a web only rate and paid in full...) I did not realize these were full size beds and not queen size. We sleep in a queen at my house so that's not too bad, but a full at his and we're generally pushing each other off. Am I just out of luck and lesson learned to read the fine print next time? I didn't think any of the deluxe type resorts had full beds so it never even occurred to me...

It's OK. We stayed there a couple years back. They had just upgraded everything to the "Heavenly Bed" so it's very comfortable pillows and bedding, which helps make up for the size of the bed. We have a King at home, but were OK in the double - it helps that we were so busy at the parks that by the time we got back to the room, we would have slept on anything.

We had DNiece and DNephew with us, so we knew we were stuck with the doubles to begin with, since we were all in one room.

I wonder if they'll let me not cancel but apply what I paid for the online rate to a King room or transfer to the Swan. I'm really concerned about this since we aren't really "run around all day and pass out at night" types and I have moderate insomnia... ugh...

The issue is that one is a Westin and the other a Sheraton - so I don't know if they let you transfer between the two (neither is owned by Disney). Both Westin and Sheraton are Starwood hotels, but still run a bit separately.

I've always stayed at Sheratons locally and they're generally pretty nice, but always had a king bed. I wonder if the Dolphin would let me apply what I paid to a guaranteed King bed room? Do they even have those?
